FAQ

How did you become an author?

As a teenager, I shut myself in my room and wrote stories, but I couldn’t show anyone. My family thought there was something wrong with me. I remember one day, my mother kicked me out of the house and told me to go somewhere—anywhere—she told me I couldn’t stay in my room and write anymore. They were worried that I didn’t have any friends.

What is the hardest part of being an author?

Knowing when to let go of a story.

Who has influenced your writing?

Dr Dallas John Baker has influenced me an awful lot. Nalini Singh has also been a large influence. Charlotte Bronte will always rest in my heart as the one who made me feel as though I was not alone. Janette Turner Hospital took my breath away with Orpheus Lost!

Do you write in a particular place?

I have a small office, but both my husband and son have their computers in the same room, so it is not always quiet.

How long did it take you to write Trelloran Seduction?

Over two years from conception to release.

FOR BLOGGERS

If you would like to apply for an ARC, please fill out the form below. After you confirm your subscription, you will receive a single email thanking you for your interest. Please respond to this email with a request for the book title. After that, I will only contact you with a notification when another book is ready for reviews. At that point, you will have the option to contact me to obtain an ARC or you can opt out at any time.

Unfortunately, I’ve had the experience of people requesting ARCs, and being the trusting person I am, I’ve sent them a free copy of the book in return for an honest review. The problem is that they post on social media to tell me that they love the book, but after much waiting, no actual review is posted anywhere.

Please, if you accept an ARC, do the right thing and post an honest review. If you liked the book, I’m happy and it makes my day to hear that, but I have bills to pay, and I can’t work for free. Reviews are essential to getting the word out, and if that doesn’t happen, there will not be a second book. So, unfortunately, I have to be strict. If I send you an ARC, and you don’t post a review on either Goodreads, Amazon or this website, I will unsubscribe you from this list and you will not receive further offers of ARCs.

Having said that, I’m sure you’re not one of these people who request ARCs with little intention of posting a review. I’m sure you genuinely want to tell your readers about great books. If that is you, fill out the form below, respond to the automatic email, and I’ll send you an ARC. 🙂

Contact Me. I’d Like To Review Your Book And Hear About Future Books.
